MMSc, PA-C completed her undergraduate studies at Florida State University. She received a Masters of Medical Science degree from Emory University. She performed her clinical rotation at Emory Hospital, Grady Hospital, the Atlanta VA Hospital, and Egleston Hospital. She passed her national board examinations with honors. Since becoming a Physician Assistant, Ms. Mahaffey has taught and precepted many PA, Nurse Practitioner, and Medical students from various Georgia universities.
Ms. Mahaffey has a broad interest in medicine and enjoys the variety of patients we have the privilege to serve. She is fluent in Spanish and conversant in French. In addition, she can make herself understood in Mam and Q'anjob'al, two Mayan root languages actually spoken by a part of the Atlanta population.
