New Device Reduces Sleep Apnea Episodes by as Much as 70 Percent

According to researchers from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, a new implantable device now undergoing clinical trials may reduce the severity of sleep apnea by as much as 70 percent in some patients.    The device is called the Inspire Upper Airway Stimulation, or UAS, and the video below explains what it does, and how it works.
